F4B Diamond Painting

Developing creative products and connecting sourcing, packaging, marketplaces and customer service.

The problem

F4B Diamond Painting grew from opportunities to improve the product range and the experience around it. Product selection, quality, presentation and support after delivery all contribute to that experience.

The approach

Product improvements and custom packaging are developed alongside the range and its presentation in the webshop and marketplace listings. Supplier conversations and customer feedback inform those choices. My responsibilities also include product information, multilingual content and service.

From product selection to customer feedback
Text description of the infographic

Product selection leads to quality improvements and custom packaging, followed by webshop and marketplace sales. Service and customer feedback inform the next selection. Product, presentation and customer experience remain connected.

The challenge

Keeping the product, its description and the customer experience consistent across a webshop and several marketplaces.

Working internationally

Selling internationally takes more than translating a product page. The work includes marketplace setup, Amazon operations and VAT registration processes for European expansion. The countries below describe that experience; they do not represent sales volumes or registration certificates.

  • Germany
  • France
  • Spain
  • Italy
  • United Kingdom

Brand protection is part of the product

The work also includes experience with trademark registration processes involving BOIP (Benelux Office for Intellectual Property) and EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office). That work is about organising and protecting a brand alongside its day-to-day operation.

Social & content

Product and brand content spans multiple languages. The challenge is to keep product information, imagery and tone consistent while making the content understandable across markets.

Outcome & value

A creative-products brand with a webshop and public Amazon and bol destinations. The case shows hands-on experience across product development and day-to-day e-commerce operations.

Lessons learned

Customer service is also a source of product information. Recurring questions can reveal unclear instructions, packaging issues or a listing that needs improvement.
