An English-language social media project about business and the stock market. I used my experience with brand accounts to explore a new audience around a personal interest.
In 30 seconds
Question
Can an interest in business and the stock market become a social media audience?
My contribution
English-language content, social media pages and performance tracking with Metricool.
Outcome & evidence
236k+ reported views and impressions in 2026 YTD; 106 followers and subscribers across accounts. Building a business remains an ambition.
I enjoy business and the stock market, and I was already creating content for social media pages. Finmetria brought those interests together: could I build an audience in this segment, with the possibility of developing a business around it later?
The approach
I created the Finmetria social media pages and published English-language posts. I used Metricool to track the connected channels and see how the content performed. The focus was on publishing and building an audience before developing a commercial offering.
The challenge
Getting content seen is only part of building an audience. Views, followers and a future business are different outcomes. The challenge is to turn an interest in a subject into content that people want to return to and follow.

Source: Metricool, retrieved on 22 October 2026. The Metricool connection dates from 24 December 2025; this overview covers 2026 only. Only available values are summed. A monthly total of 0 means no recorded views in the available data, not necessarily complete coverage.
Facebook: page content views. Instagram: content and profile views, including organic and paid data as reported. YouTube: video views. Threads: post views. Pinterest: impressions. Bluesky has no available view metric.
Followers and subscribers are each account’s latest available snapshot on 21 October, not newly acquired followers. The same person can follow several accounts.
Bars show reported counts. Platform definitions differ; this is not a comparison of unique reach or conversion. October is a partial month. These figures show visibility, not revenue or a validated business model.
Outcome & value
The result so far is a published body of social content and a measurable audience experiment. Metricool reports more than 236,000 views and impressions in 2026 through 21 October, with 106 followers and subscribers summed across the connected accounts. The project has not yet been developed into a business.
Lessons learned
The figures make the next question clear: how can visibility translate into people choosing to follow the content? Publishing provided an opportunity to test that question in a subject I enjoy. Any future business would still need its own proposition and validation.
